It is a well-built Pombaline building with a very beautiful main staircase, which has an integrated service staircase: on the intermediate levels, there is a very steep shooting flight that gives access to a service area of the house. Each apartment therefore has two entrances.
The apartment in question was in disrepair, with part of the floor collapsed, and the program was a house for a family with two children. 
The kitchen was located at the back and it was decided to keep that location. The children's rooms also faced the back.
The living room and the master bedroom were located on the main facade. 
In the center there are a series of narrow corridors that were kept, and the interior compartments were used for sanitary facilities, storage areas and a dining room connected to the living room.
